1. Hunker down and do the support yourself. Let’s say your hourly rate is around $150, and you spend 2 hours each day doing support for your app, after a full day of coding and designing.

    This means you spend: $150 x 2 hrs = $300 per day $300 per day x 5 days a week = $1,500 $1,500 x 4 weeks = You spend $6,000 per month on support. This, friends, is bullshit.

    The average customer support professional for an online company makes about $16 an hour. This less than what In-N-Out pays their assistant shift managers.

    And this is why online customer support typically sucks. You’re paying some of your most important employees less than fast food workers.
